NFTN’s First Annual Charity Gala and Silent Auction was a Success!
Nurse for the Nations first Charity Gala was a success! The Gala was sponsored through individual, Church and company sponsors in the Savannah and Richmond Hill community. Auction sponsor items were a big hit!
Thank you to Savannah Christian Church, the SBNA (Savannah Black Nurses Association), St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital and John Matthews COO of NFTN for there table sponsorships. Maison de Macarons Company, shared there delectible delights during the auction and they were a big hit!

The tables were decorated with pictures and stories from each of the seven countries NFTN served over the past four and one half years. Mike Cihia from WTOC welcomed all of our guests as our Emcee. Pastor Dave Stewart from Savannah Christian Church said the blessing over the meal.
Our Gala Committee Chairperson Vicki Agyekum RN MSN along with our Event Coordinator Nancy Kowolik were recognized along with committee members; Ola Raymond, Elaine Imber, Cheryl Williams, Wendy Duszak for the great job they did with all of the gala arrangements. Silent Auction volunteers were Janice Smith and Stephan Kowolik, and recieving hostesses Judie Marcum and Trudie Story. Our violinists Araiann Baxter, Haley Martin and Deborah Stevens played beautiful music during the auction.
Music and vocals were performed during the night by Drew Humphreys; Savannah Christian Church; Audio/Visuals completed by Winston Graham and Matt Deal worked the production equipment.
NFTN Photo arrangements were put together by Olga Diego from OMG photography. Kira Kowolik took pictures during the night and finally the Purity Dancers Jasmine Floyd, Naya Mason, Jakayla Davis and Cierra Davis performed a culturally diverse dance which celebrated Gods love for the nations in the world.
Mary McMahon, RN M.B.A., MS , NFTN Founder shared about the journey of the organization and Vice President Beth Hines talked about how NFTN changed her own story.
